Tymon is like homemade wine: the older the stronger. Tymon, as you know, never paid attention to formalities, and if Polish shit lay somewhere along the way, he just stepped on it, and then got straight into the salons.

“Paszkwile”, the album that is the basis of Tymon’s concerts in the 2019/2020 cultural season, is a contagious mix of rock, jazz and electronics.

– Musical style is obsolete – says the artist. I try to play everything that I like and find inspiring, freely juggling the style and sound, combining sophistication and beauty with the intended ugliness.

– For 27 years it did not occur to me to agitate, instruct and give lectures on tolerance and freedom, on the devaluation of national values and the increase in the importance of individual values. (…) And yet, for various reasons, Poles did not do this important homework that free the mind from mental narrowness – says the artist who once provoked, entertained and sympathized with his fellow men, and today, peculiarly and noticeably after the 50th birthday, without blinking and compassion for the enemy calls for a fight for Poland of a different shape than the current one.

The guitarist and co-producer Marcin Gałązka, pianist Michał Wandzilak and drummer Tomasz Koper took part in the album’s production, as well as the drummers Łukasz Kumański and Jacek Prościński, and saxophonist Michał Jan Ciesielski.
