Kirszenbaum is an award-winning duo hailing from Kraków, combining a few unrelated musical worlds into one, dark postfolk Slavic shoegaze soundscape. Drawing their inspiration from all sorts of literary figures, bands such as Junip or songwriters like Nick Cave, Kirszenbaum is on a constant trip from Tove Jansson to Friedrich Nietzsche and beyond.

In 2019, Kirszenbaum released their full-length debut Stypa komedianta under Karrrot Kommando, one of the largest independent labels in Poland. The duo gave dozens of concerts throughout Poland, Slovakia, Germany and Czech Republic, appeared at numerous folk and alt scene festivals, was aired on some of the biggest Polish radio stations (Radio Kraków, National Polish Radio 1, 2 and Trójka – Polskie Radio), gathered awards in all corners of Poland and opened shows for renowned Polish artists such as Fisz Emade Tworzywo, Pablopavo i Ludziki, Żywiołak, Warsaw Village Band, or the Canadian YAMANTAKA // SONIC TITAN.
