Agnieszka Gliska: – The Gala Concert will be based on the artistic work of Wojciech Młynarski. Of the nearly three thousand songs that he left us, we chose the ones that most profoundly speak about our world, today, here and now, even though they were written in – seemingly – gone times. Together with Jan Młynarski, who is the musical director of the concert, and with the most oustanding cast, we invite you to this meeting to experience the late songwriter’s presence among us – says the director.
Our concert-performance consists of two parts. In the first one there are songs commenting on reality, musical feuilletons – witty, painful, stunningly up-to-date.
In the second part, in words of extraordinary, completely unknown and unreleased texts, together with you, dear viewers, we will try to think for a moment how to live.
